Finding Rock-Solid Security

"See the security in Christ, the insecurity in yourself, and the grace in God's second chances."

A day in College

Yesterday was so far the busiest day of my college career. My day started out at 7am. I got up, got ready for class, quickly went for "Grab-and-go", and when to my first class at 8am. My first class was Organic Chemistry Lab. The experiment was going the way it was suppose to until we reach the part where we had to filter the solution. It was then that we waited, and waited, and waited. The solution had too many big particles that it started clogging the filter paper. We had no choice, but to wait for it to drip, drop by drop until it was finish. Somehow we manage to complete what we were doing just before it was time to go to chapel at 11am.

After chapel which ended at 11:35 am, I had lunch and then I headed off to the library to get the answer key for grading some math homework that was due at 1pm. I quickly graded my homework just in time before the class. I went to class, hand in the homework, and took a test. When the test was over, I went to another class for another test. Finally after the second test was over, I went back to my room at 3pm and started studying for a quiz which was at 4pm. After my 4 o'clock class, I went for a quick dinner and then I went to the place where I had to take a test at 7pm. I had roughly about 1 hr 30 mins to cram. The test finally ended at 9:38pm. I was dead tired, yet I could not fully relax because the next day I had another test and quiz.

God is good. Yesterday went well. On the final test, the teacher put this verse: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10) The test today also went well. Before the test I felt like I did not study enough for the test, but my friend reminded me that there is only so much that we can do in the time that was given. Now that everything is over...I'M FREEEeee.... !!! =D . . . . but only for awhile =s *sigh*

God will provide.

It has been a while since I have updated this blog. I was reading through what I had written, and all the memories of things that have happened to me started to flood my mind. I'm starting to realize the benefits of having a blog. Even though I am really busy right now, I feel that I had to write something. There had been many events that I had not written about, which I am starting to regret. I hope that I will somehow find time to update my blog in the future.

As you can see, I have decided to change my blog background and title. The title, from Matthew 6:26, is an assurance that God will provide for His children as He has always provided for the fowls of the air. So the next time you are in need, "behold the fowls of the air" and remember not to worry. God will provide.

How would you describe yourself in one word?

Holidays had been really fun, but everything must end sometime or another right? I'm sure most of you have already started school. As for me, class just started last week.
Anyways, last week during my Bible class, the students were asked to describe themselves in one word. I thought this was really thought provoking. So I decided to ask you guys the same question. How would you describe yourself in one word? Have some thought about it before reading farther.

I know it is not an easy task to do, but I would like to know how many of you chose the word "blessed". "Blessed" was the word I chose. Looking back at life, I thought about all the good and bad things that have happened. I feel that all these things that had happened were all part of a puzzle that fitted nicely in place as the pieces were put together. Events that I once thought was bad were in fact good, because out of it I learned something. I am reminded that God has a divine plan for my life and that everything that has happened, both good and bad, was part of His perfect plan. I had lived a blessed life and am still living this blessed life. And guess what! If you still don't know, you guys are a blessing to me. Pause and think about the life you have lived. Leave me a comment if you too think you had lived a blessed life, but please do not use the cbox. Just use the comment button at the bottom. Thanks.
