I'm starting to show signs of neglect. Now I'm back in Korea. Just waiting for my flight which is in about 12 hrs time. Not much to say. Just hoping for a good year ahead. A little worried about the work load, but am trusting God for His help.

The trip to Gunung Tahan was a success. I made a short clip of the mountain range.

Btw I'm typing all this on my new tablet, HTC flyer.

Singapore

I've been too lazy to finish my report on the trip to Vietnam. There were quite a lot of other highlights to mention, but unfortunately indolence got the best of me. Since a picture is said to worth a thousand words, then the pictures I've uploaded on Facebook should be good enough to make up for my laziness.

Today is the forth day since I've been in Singapore. Some highlights from the past few days: visit to the world's first Night Safari, finished playing Call of Duty 4, started playing Battlefield Bad Company 2, woke up at 5 am on Monday and Wednesday to train for Gunung Tahan, and planning to go fishing today.

I have completed some projects for the summer, and I'm still in the process of completing others, so stay tune.

Vietnam

Day 1

There isn’t much to write about the first day. When we arrived, we were delayed at the airport for a long time. By the time we got to our hotel it was already late and after finishing dinner it was already 12am. I guess the only highlight of the day is the delicious bowl of beef noodle soup that I had for dinner.

Day 2

I am currently in the bus typing this. So far it’s been 2 hrs and there is still about 4 hrs to go before our arrival at Da Lat. The bus ride is pretty good. There isn’t a lot of people onboard so I’m occupying 2 seats.

Day 3

Our arrival at the hotel yesterday took about 2hrs more than I expected. In total we were on the road for about 8 hrs. I wasn’t able to update this blog yesterday because I had trouble connecting to the Internet.

Today somehow the Internet works. We started our day visiting two waterfalls. Then we visited the King’s palace and a monastery. We stopped for lunch at the hotel before heading to our next destination—XQ hand embroidery. I really like the handicrafts; unfortunately I can’t show any pictures because photography was prohibited. We ended our tour with a visit to the Valley of Love and a huge statue of Buddha. Here are some pictures. The rest of the pictures will be on facebook.

Cuttlefish seller at Sigon

On the way up to Da Lat

Chang seller

Selling clothes at the market

Crossing the scary Vietnamese road

The only picture I took at the handicraft place

Summary

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> As I am writing this, I am currently at the Korean airport whiling away the time while I wait for my next flight. I’m just going to give a quick summary of what has been going on. After final exams ended on Wednesday, I went out with some friends who were graduating (Jade, Freda, and Celeste) to a Korean/Chinese fusion restaurant. After gobbling up our food, we then headed off to Frankies Fun Park.

At Frankies, we played a game of Laser Tag. For many of us, playing Laser Tag was our first time. We geared up in suits that kinda look like those found in sci fi movies. And as we approached out base, our suits instantly buzzed and light up to our team color—blue. At that moment, I was kinda pumped up looking at our suits light up. Skipping all the details, I must say that the game was pretty intense and fun. In fact, we had so much fun the first round that we played a second round, which ended with me being the high score player. =D

School finally ended with packing and attending required programs such as Pride and Prejudice, commencement ceremony, and some other programs that I don’t really know the name of. Overall, I must say that it had been a really hectic week. I’m really looking forward to getting home. The thoughts of seeing familiar faces, playing with my pets, lying on my own bed, and eating food that gives a sense of home, just makes me ecstatic. =) I hope to be more faithful in updating this blog during the summer. I have quite a few plans lined up.

<img width='1' height='1' And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. 8By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? 9And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. 10Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

Once Upon a Time

Today, all of a sudden I had a flash back of an old memory. The state of Georgia was expecting 2-7 inchs of snow. It hasn’t snowed that much in a long while. I’ve heard that the whole state of Georgia has only two snow plowers. This would mean that most of the roads will be inaccessible whenever there is bad snow. People around my cousin’s area were going crazy. Almost everyone was preparing for the bad weather. According to Home Depot, the newly arrived parcel of deicing salt was sold out in less than 30mins. Schools were closing and many people had already planned on staying home. Some had stock up their food supplies for fear that they might be trapped at home for a couple of days.

I, my brother, and my cousin had to leave for Clemson, which is about two hours drive up north from Suwannee, Georgia. We were all heading back to school. The plan was to spend a night in Clemson before heading back to Greenville. As predicted, it started snowing at around 12 am.

Today, the roads are completely covered in snow. It looks like me and my brother will be spending a whole lot more time in Clemson than we initially planned. On the bright side, our school has allowed students to return at a later time, when the roads are safe to drive on.

There isn’t much to do here. The only thing we could do is to go outside and play with some snow, which is exactly what we did.

A day in College

Yesterday was so far the busiest day of my college career. My day started out at 7am. I got up, got ready for class, quickly went for "Grab-and-go", and when to my first class at 8am. My first class was Organic Chemistry Lab. The experiment was going the way it was suppose to until we reach the part where we had to filter the solution. It was then that we waited, and waited, and waited. The solution had too many big particles that it started clogging the filter paper. We had no choice, but to wait for it to drip, drop by drop until it was finish. Somehow we manage to complete what we were doing just before it was time to go to chapel at 11am.

After chapel which ended at 11:35 am, I had lunch and then I headed off to the library to get the answer key for grading some math homework that was due at 1pm. I quickly graded my homework just in time before the class. I went to class, hand in the homework, and took a test. When the test was over, I went to another class for another test. Finally after the second test was over, I went back to my room at 3pm and started studying for a quiz which was at 4pm. After my 4 o'clock class, I went for a quick dinner and then I went to the place where I had to take a test at 7pm. I had roughly about 1 hr 30 mins to cram. The test finally ended at 9:38pm. I was dead tired, yet I could not fully relax because the next day I had another test and quiz.

God is good. Yesterday went well. On the final test, the teacher put this verse: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10) The test today also went well. Before the test I felt like I did not study enough for the test, but my friend reminded me that there is only so much that we can do in the time that was given. Now that everything is over...I'M FREEEeee.... !!! =D . . . . but only for awhile =s *sigh*

God will provide.

It has been a while since I have updated this blog. I was reading through what I had written, and all the memories of things that have happened to me started to flood my mind. I'm starting to realize the benefits of having a blog. Even though I am really busy right now, I feel that I had to write something. There had been many events that I had not written about, which I am starting to regret. I hope that I will somehow find time to update my blog in the future.

As you can see, I have decided to change my blog background and title. The title, from Matthew 6:26, is an assurance that God will provide for His children as He has always provided for the fowls of the air. So the next time you are in need, "behold the fowls of the air" and remember not to worry. God will provide.

How would you describe yourself in one word?

Holidays had been really fun, but everything must end sometime or another right? I'm sure most of you have already started school. As for me, class just started last week.
Anyways, last week during my Bible class, the students were asked to describe themselves in one word. I thought this was really thought provoking. So I decided to ask you guys the same question. How would you describe yourself in one word? Have some thought about it before reading farther.

I know it is not an easy task to do, but I would like to know how many of you chose the word "blessed". "Blessed" was the word I chose. Looking back at life, I thought about all the good and bad things that have happened. I feel that all these things that had happened were all part of a puzzle that fitted nicely in place as the pieces were put together. Events that I once thought was bad were in fact good, because out of it I learned something. I am reminded that God has a divine plan for my life and that everything that has happened, both good and bad, was part of His perfect plan. I had lived a blessed life and am still living this blessed life. And guess what! If you still don't know, you guys are a blessing to me. Pause and think about the life you have lived. Leave me a comment if you too think you had lived a blessed life, but please do not use the cbox. Just use the comment button at the bottom. Thanks.
<img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5673855204850343103-6148198827548009405?l=incy-quincy.blogspot.com' alt='' Some days it feels as though time slows down and life just feels so "laggy". On the other hand, there are days when time just flies. It has been about six weeks since I have been in school and it feels as if it has only been a week. I have been so preoccupied with studies that I hardly have time to blog. I feel bad that I have been putting God aside. Life seems to revolve around studies.

When life is rough we tend to lose faith and start trusting on ourselves. We put God second and try our best to do things on our own. I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. Try to remember the times when you were very stressed about something. What did you do? Did you read your Bible more? Or did you put God aside?

Mathew 6: 25-34
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? [7] 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

There are times in life when we feel that a task given by the Lord is too tough. It just seems impossible. When Jesus fed the five thousand, He told his disciples (Mathew 14:16) “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” The task was impossible for the disciples. But nothing is impossible for the Lord. And thus he said unto them (Mathew 14:18) “Bring them (five loaves and two fishes) here to me.” There are times in life when we just have to do our best and leave the rest to God. Bring your problems before Jesus and let him take care of it.

So I command you my friends HAVE FAITH!

My arrival into a foreign land.

Upon my arrival, I have been busy, busy, busy. I have been out doing shopping for clothes and all the necessities. It had been a long journey from Malaysia to Korea then to America. The plane ride wasn't as boring as I had expected it to be. There were lots of movies, drama, documentaries, etc. to watch. Not to forget about the food on the plane, it was surprisingly good. The service was decent. But like most things not everything is a bed of roses. Even roses have its thorns. With all my effort to have a good nights sleep I was only able to have a little repose. The seats were uncomfortable for sleeping. It was able to lean back but not far enough to allow me to rest properly. There wasn't anything for my head to lean on except for my brothers shoulder.

Besides all that, the trip was pretty interesting. It's not often that a person gets to experience 2 mornings on the same day. And the sight of the time change was stunning. Here are some pictures I took in the airport in Korea and in the plane:

My bro dead tired.

When we first stepped into my cousins house. Stay tuned, there will be another poem coming up.

And if you really have nothing better to do than to read this blog. Here is another poem I wrote a long time ago during one of those hazy days. I had a thought of what hell would be like and that some people are living in hell on earth.

In the dark my eyes lay waste
I could not see through this thick blinding haze
My tears have run dry
Even my fears forbids me to cry

When I pleaded no one could hear
No one seem to know I am here
Living in worry and in fear
I know my end is near

And then came a light
That saved me from the blight
I need not hide
For in me he abide

My Savior and my friend
The one who is my guide
I will not see a terrible end
Because he is on my side

The battle that was lost
Was not without cause
For it has now been won
When I have finally been reborn

Bagan Lalang

Last Sunday me, Su Ann, Joey, Darren, Su Kym and Krystal went to Bagan Lalang aka. Sepang Beach. We had a great time together taking pictures, catching crabs and just hanging out. One of the reasons we were there was to take pictures of the beautiful sunset but unfortunately it was a cloudy day. But in a way a cloudy day was a good thing. If it wasn't for the clouds we would probably have been fried by the sun. Here are some of the pictures:

Looking for crabs.

Exoskeleton of a Horseshoe crab

Krystal and Darren releasing the crabs.

And finally dinner.

At the end of the day, crabs wont the only thing we picked up. I don't think it is worth posting anything anymore. My ideas to continue using this blog may not be possible. I don't think I can own a blog in my university. But I guess if I am in the mood I will post a little bit more before I enter school.

Some updates on what I have been up to:

Just came back from a short trip to Singapore on Sunday. I managed to meet up with Poh Hian in Bukit Batok, Singapore. Even though I wasn't able to hang out with them, I was lucky enough to have had a chance to take some pictures with them.

On Monday night I made some Rum and Raisin Ice-cream.

Homemade Rum & raisin ice-cream in a caramel basket with a wafer stick impaled in it.

It's getting late. So I better be off to bed. I have to wake up early tomorrow if I want to see you guys at the centre.

God vs Science

This is such a good rebuttal to all the doubtful science-is-everything- atheists out there...

A science professor begins his school year with a lecture to the students,
'Let me explain the problem science has with religion.' The atheist
professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new
students to stand.

'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

'Yes sir,' the student says.

So you believe in God?'

'Absolutely.'

'Is God good?'

'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'

'Yes.'

'Are you good or evil?'

'The Bible says I' m evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible!' He considers for a moment.
'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can
cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

'Yes sir, I would.'

'So you're good...!'

'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could.
Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. 'He doesn't, does
he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to
Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?'

The student remains silent.

'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a
glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?'

'Er...yes,' the student says.

'Is Satan good?'

The studen t doesn't hesitate on this one. 'No.'

'Then where does Satan come from?'

The student falters. 'From God'

'That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in
this world?'

'Yes, sir.'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?'

'Yes.'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything,
then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle
that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Again, the student has no answer. 'Is there sickness? Immorality?
Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'

The student squirms on his feet. 'Yes.'

'So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question.
'Who created them?' There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks
away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.<>
'Tell me,' he continues onto another student. 'Do you believe in Jesus
Christ, son?'

The student's voice betrays him and cracks. 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to
identify and observe the world around you.
Have you ever seen Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him.'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'

'No, sir, I have not.'

'Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that
matter?'

'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

Yet you still believe in him?'

'Yes.'

According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol,
science says your God doesn't exist.
What do you say to that, son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies. 'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats. 'And that is the problem science has
with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of His
own.

'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'

'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'

'And is there such a thing as cold?'

'Yes, son, there's cold too.'

'No sir, there isn't.'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room
suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain. 'You can have
lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white
heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We
can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any
further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be
able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees.'

'Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits
energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is
only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold.
Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the
opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding
like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't
darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of
something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing
light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called
darkness, isn't it?

That's the meaning we use to define the word.'

'In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness
darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a
good semester.

'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start
with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time. 'Flawed? Can you
explain how?'

'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains. 'You
argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God.
You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can
measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought.'

'It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully
understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be
ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death
is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.'

'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a
monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes,
of course I do.'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where
the argument is going.

A very good semester, indeed.

'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot
even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching
your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has
subsided.

'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me
give you an example of what I mean.'

The student looks around the room. 'Is there anyone in the class who has
ever seen the professor's brain?'

The class breaks out into laughter.

'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the
professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain? No one appears to
have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable,
demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due
respect, sir.'

'So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face
unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. 'I guess you'll
have to take them on faith.'

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,'
the student continues.

'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?'

Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it
everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in
the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These
manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied, 'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God.

It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe
the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what
happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart.
It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that
comes when there is no light.'

The professor sat down.

If you read this all the way through and had a smile on your face when you
finished, mail to your friends and family with the title: God vs Science

Glenda Lord-Wright

What is success?

"What is success?" Disturbed by the sound I woke up instantly. I hardly slept. I was too excited to get any respite. Constantly I woke up in the middle of the night to check the time. “Finally, time for the exam!”

After being disembarked at the test area, I sat down quietly waiting for my number to be called. “Number 4, number 7, 45, 111, 78, please wait at hut C”

Anxious as to how well I would do, I tried to calm myself down. Some of the reasons for my anxiety were: number one, the car was different and number two, a few days before the exam I did not do too well for the practice. Suddenly, I had a pleasant surprise. It was an sms from Su Ann blessing me and wishing me all the best. The timing for the sms was impeccable. It helped me to cool down and relax. About an hour or so my number was finally called.

In the car, I kept telling myself to calm down and just take it easy. Slowly, I drove up the hill and stopped perfectly at the right spot. Relieved that I stop correctly, I waited for the cue by the examiner for me to carry on. After overcoming the hill everything else was a “breeze”.

Finished with the first test, I was now very confident in taking on the challenge for the next road test. My excitement slowly died after waiting for a long time for my number to be called again. It was not until the throng of students had left before my number was called.

As I enter the car I wished the examiner good afternoon and started of adjusting the sit, adjusting the side mirrors, checking the lights, checking the wipers, and finally put on the seat belt. I was all set and ready. A prompt from the examiner to start my journey was given. Everything went smoothly until reaching the entrance of the driving school. There was a stop sign indicating that I had to stop and check for on coming vehicles. The moment I released the hand break, after deciding that it was safe to carry on, the engine died. I quickly restarted the engine again and tried for the second time. To my horror, the engine died for the second time. “Saya bagi kamu 3 kali sahaja. (I will give you only 3 tries)” was the most horrifying statement made by the examiner. This time I pressed hard on the accelerator and it worked! I was finally moving.

On the road, I did my best to show the examiner that I could drive and was confident. Upon my arrival at the first traffic light, I pulled up the hand break and waited for the green light. When it turned green, I started to release the clutch and press the accelerator before fully releasing the hand break. Big mistake! The car jolted back and forth but thank God the car was still running. “Phew! That was close.”

When my journey was finally coming to an end, there was a final traffic light I had to overcome. I reminded myself to first release the hand break fully then the clutch and accelerator. Unfortunately this time I did not press the accelerator hard enough while releasing the clutch too rapidly. The car jerked back and forth so hard that it was literally like riding on a galloping horse. Deep within me I kept praying that the car would not stop. To my surprise, the jerking stopped as the movement of the car slowly "smoothens" out.

Finally, at the end of the journey, at the driving school, I had to stop at a corner. I stopped and waited for the examiner to finish writing down my results. After he was done I was signaled to turn into a junction. The moment I tried to move the vehicle, the stubborn engine failed. At that moment in time, the blood in my veins froze. In a panic I quickly started the engine without putting the gear back into free gear. The car jolted back and forth. In a hurry I did all the readjustments to stop the atrocious movement of the car. Everything was done in a blur. I knew this was it. It was the end. I failed.

While still in the car I was lectured by the examiner. The first thing he said was "Apa hal degan kamu ini? (What is wrong with you?) ". I tried explaining that I was not accustomed to using his car. He then continued to lecturing me before handing over my results. I was shocked. I had passed. I would say that if I had not waited for him to finish writing before turning into the junction, I would have probably failed.

All I can say is: Thank God he was there to help me. A minute too early would have changed everything. And thank God for the PEN which makes it impossible to erase. :D

Short break from exams.

Let me begin first with an update on my exams. So far the exams are ok. I am done with two subjects- English and Math. I have another four more subjects to finish up in June.

Today my cousin from UK wanted to have a photo shoot. She was pretty crazy to ask me to go shooting in the blazing afternoon sun. I managed to talk her into going in the late afternoon when it is not too hot.

Here are some photos:

If your wondering why there are only pictures of her. Look closely at the last photo below. Let me know if you can spot me. :D

By the way, since part of making this blog is to improve my English, I gladly invite everyone to rephrase or correct me whenever I make any errors. My wish is to become a better writer by making less mistakes and to be more expressive by not always giving mediocre replies to questions.

Why oh why would I start a blog?

I am sure a few of you guys are wondering why I have decided to start a blog. I'm not really the kind of person who likes to tell people about my boring life. Neither do I know why people have blogs. But here are some of my reasons for having one.

1) Since I'm not seeing you guys so often anymore, I thought it will be good for you guys to know whats going on during my exam, after my exam and about my life in the US. I hope this blog will save you guys the trouble of asking me what I am up too.

2) To "flex my writing muscle"? ;b

3) To continue to keep our friendship even though I will be many miles away from home. Hopefully we can continue to stay connected in my "Web".

I hope not to bore you guys with my first post. So I will end here.

Well if you guys don't mind sharing your reasons for having a blog, do leave a comment. Thanks.
